Not in our city - Liverpool antiwar protest
written by Stuart on March 31st, 2006
Whilst politicians in Liverpool were shaking hands, all smiles welcoming Condoleeza Rice to the city, the anti-war movement was preparing to offer a truer perspective of public opinion on the war she and her colleagues began. Today something like three to four thousand people amassed at the Catholic Cathedral in protest at the Iraq war, the actions of the American and British governments, the illegal incarceration of hundreds of men in Guantanamo bay, the ignorance in the west of the Arab-Israeli conflict and possibility of military action against Iran.

I hear in the news about the protest.
Recently I saw “Syriana”. I admit I didn’t get all of the film, but some scenes were really strong.
I can understand why some Americans have marked George Clooney in their blacklist after “Syriana” and “Good Night and Good luck”.
