Introducing SurveyGizmo

When I was approached by the folks at SurveyGizmo, I had a feeling it was going to be great working with them. Like me, they are people who are enthusiastic and passionate about the web, and the part they have to play in it. So together with Stephan and I, we worked on creating a widget which would be of great benefit to the mac users amongst their clientele.

The service they offer - online surveys, questionnaires, and all the statistics that go with them - forms a critical part of their clients toolbox, and as such being able to access their data quickly is a great benefit. Using the SurveyGizmo API to get almost real-time statistics allows the widget to be not only very useful, but very powerful too.
The widget retains the overall look of the SurveyGizmo website, and allows the user (with a unique - and free - API key) to access key information on all of the surveys they are running at present, as well as offering quicklinks to manage the surveys themselves.
This is exactly the sort of thing I set up wdgty with the hope of working on. It is a great use of the dashboard, and one which has real, tangible benefits for a specific group of people. It's been real fun working with Scott and Christian, and the SurveyGizmo service comes highly recommended, as (of course) does the dashboard widget, which is available from SurveyGizmo website, and will shortly appear on the apple dashboard directory.
If SurveyGizmo sounds interesting, and you want to take a look at the service they offer, the link below is for you, and don't hesistate in dropping any questions you have about the service to the guys, they will be more than happy to help you.
